Before initial use, hand-wash your Kool Lagoon bottle and lid with hot, soapy water. Rinse the bottle and lid well and it’s ready for #KoolAdventures.

We recommend not putting your Kool Lagoon bottle through the dishwasher as the dishwasher can get hot enough to discolor the powder coat.  

Do not soak the exterior of the bottle in hot water: Soaking your entire bottle in hot water can discolor the powder coat.

Due to the efficient double wall vacuum insulation, the water inside the bottle won’t freeze. For ice cold water, we recommend filling your Kool Lagoon bottles with ice cubes and you will enjoy your favourite icy drink all day long!

Due to the double wall vacuum insulating property of the bottle, inside beverage temperature will not heat up on the stove. If you put your Kool Lagoon bottle on any heat source, the heat will damage the outside of the bottle.

We do not recommend soaking or putting any lids through the dishwasher, as the lids can take on water when they are put through the dishwasher or soaked in water for an extended time. Instead, we recommend hand washing them with hot, soapy water, rinsing, and allowing them to air-dry.

Do not use bleach or chlorine to clean our products: Those chemicals will corrode and rust stainless steel as well as damage the lid. Therefore, they should not be used on the bottles.

Hand wash your Kool Lagoon bottle using a bottle brush and straw cleaner once a day to ensure that it remains mold and germ free.

Step 1: Use household white distilled vinegar and baking soda to help remove any stains or discoloration on the inside of your bottle. First, place the bottle in a sink, then put ½ cup of distilled vinegar in your Kool Lagoon bottle, followed by one tablespoon of baking soda for every cup the flask holds. This mixture will froth up.  

Step 2:  Fill the flask the rest of the way up with hot water after the fizzing mixture has died down. Leave the lid off the bottle to keep the pressure from building up too much.

Step 3: Let the flask sit for 8-10 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
