Kool Lagoon 1-Year Limited Warranty

Kool Lagoon water bottles carry a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Kool Lagoon will replace any product found to be defective within the scope of normal and appropriate use. The warranty does not cover regular wear and tear, such as color fading, dents, scratches, powder coat chips from the bottle being dropped, damaged, etc.

You may be required to pay for shipping fees of replacement items.

The following will NOT be covered under the warranty:

  • Products that have damage caused by misuse and improper care
  • Products with cosmetic damage (ex: dents or scratches caused by dropping)
  • Any item without a receipt or order confirmation
  • Normal wear & tear
  • Cleaning related issues
  • Issues with accessories (straws and brushes)

If your cap breaks or you notice a leak, simply submit a warranty claim form  and enter your warranty details. Please note you may be required to send us a photo of your cap to validate the claim. You will be responsible for the shipping charge to have the cap returned if you send the cap to us.

Please note damages and large dents can cause insulation problems. Damages and dents are not covered as a manufactures defect and will void your warranty.

You can test the insulation of your bottle at home with boiling water. 

STEP 1: Pour hot water from a kettle directly into the stationary bottle, filling it all the way to the neck. Exercise caution pouring boiling water into the bottle to avoid burns.  Also, do not place the cap over the bottle. 

STEP 2: After about 5 minutes, feel the outside of the bottle (below the neck). If you feel any hot spots, the insulation has been compromised and you are eligible for a replacement.

To submit a warranty claim, please submit pictures of your flask to show it is undamaged.  

Please contact us if you ordered your bottle from KoolLagoon.com and it has arrived damaged. If you use your bottle, we cannot replace it due to shipping damage.

The rattle you hear is a small metal disc that sits between the double wall of your flask and aids in the vacuum insulation process. Sometimes the disc becomes dislodged, creating a small noise or rattle. This will not affect the insulation or structural integrity of your flask. 

Warranty claims will only be approved by Kool Lagoon if the product was purchased from an authorized dealer. This warranty is limited to the first year of your Kool Lagoon product, as limited by or subject to applicable law. The limited warranty provided by Kool Lagoon only covers manufacturing defects and does not include any damage or defect of any Kool Lagoon products caused by, whether directly or indirectly, any of the following: (i) improper use or misuse of the product; (ii) damage or defect caused by cleaning, disassembly, alterations, or modifications; or (iii) damage or defect caused by or resulting from wear and tear, abuse, fire, or Acts of God.

Please note your Warranty Claim Kool Lagoon water bottle will be replaced by the same size and color Kool Lagoon bottle. If the size and color are no longer available, it will be replaced by one of similar size and color and will not be of lower MSRP value.

In no event shall Kool Lagoon be liable or responsible for any damage, loss, cost, or expense, including incidental or consequential damages.

Once we have your defective flask, please allow 7-10 days for return delivery. You will receive a confirmation email once the flask has been processed for a warranty exchange.
